London Golf Club needed a 4-metre-deep manhole replacement to support the course’s essential irrigation infrastructure – a technically demanding job to be carried out without affecting play or course quality.

Our team excavated, broke out and removed the existing concrete weir wall manhole using proprietary support systems, before installing a new 1.8m diameter Weholite HDPE penstock valve chamber. All works were carried out within a live, operational golf environment, in coordination with the club and specialist partners SDS Infrastructure and Groundforce.

A technically challenging deep excavation delivered safely and to a high standard, restoring reliable water flow and level control across the course – a key part of maintaining year-round course quality and sustainability.
